Bright and perfumed, the wine opens with aromas of sweet summer fruits, red cherries and blueberries, complemented by delicate floral notes of violets and gentle spice. The palette is reserved, with sweet undertones, rich firm tannins and cedar notes. The wine opens up at the back of the palette, fruity and balanced.

The 2025 season got off to an excellent start, with a warm, dry spring, little frost pressure and ideal conditions for flowering and fruit set. A long, hot and exceptionally dry summer followed, bringing plenty of sunshine and low disease pressure across the vineyards. Ripening came remarkably early, with harvest beginning around two weeks ahead of a typical year and grapes arriving with excellent concentration, flavour and natural sugars. The dry conditions meant yields were somewhat lower, but the quality of the fruit was exceptional, with bright, balanced acidity, ripe fruit character and plenty of depth.

This wine is beautiful alongside meaty white fish, light game such as Guinea fowl, puy lentils and roast vegetables.
