Divided Light Private View

£0.00

Thursday 4th September | 18.00 - 20.00

Rosie Mortimer, winner of the 2024 Artelium Artefact Prize in partnership with The Sussex Contemporary, presents a new exhibition and two wine label designs created as part of her award. Rosie Mortimer’s exhibition at Artelium explores dualities. Utilising materials with elements of transparency, her pieces interrogate the notions of solidity & fragility, import & insignificance. These states of being are liminal, both there and not: simultaneously present and absent. This exhibition features a selection of intricate works on paper, a new development in Rosie’s practice.

This private view will unveil a new permanent sculpture Rosie has made for the estate and is the launch for two brand new Artefact wines, featuring labels designed by Rosie.

Join us for the private view, which will include a tasting of the new wines, a Q&A with Rosie about her work and a talk with Jo Myles about The Artelium Artefact prize, in collaboration with The Sussex Contemporary.
