Little frost damage in April followed by a warm and settled May led to a fantastic fruit set meaning the growing season started off well. A heatwave in Europe led to persistent wet weather across July and into early August. However, the Summer ended as it had started, with one of the warmest September on record. The late burst of sunshine helped the grapes reach terrific levels of ripeness come harvest, meaning high quality and quantity of fruit was achieved across both Artelium sites.
