Apply to Artelium’s Sussex Christmas Makers Market
Saturday, 30th November
10 am - 4pm
Join us in the barn for our annual Sussex Christmas Market, which brings together some of our favourite local makers. Our markets present a curated offering of contemporary craft and artisanal products from a selection of likeminded craftspeople and artists.
This year we’re on the hunt for some new makers to take part. We’re especially interested in seeing work which responds to nature in some way, whether that’s through natural materials, aesthetic inspiration, or an angle of sustainability. If you’re a Sussex maker or producer and would be interested in applying for a pitch, please provide the following:
Artist statement / bio
Up to five images of your work

Why Exhibit at Our Christmas Market
Artelium will be offering wine tastings throughout the day and our restaurant and bar will be open to keep guests fed and watered, resulting in a longer visit per person and an extended purchasing window. The event is all about accessibility, being free to attend for consumers but requiring pre-registration, so you know expected footfall.
The costing and format of the event therefore is designed with both producer benefit and smoothness of consumer experience in mind.
There will be:
Low pitch fee (£75 per maker/producer)
Strong Wi-Fi for your payment systems
No minimum / maximum number of products on show
A dedicated section about you on our website, with back-links to your website / Instagram page
A series of Instagram-based promotions across stories and posts
A newsletter sent out to a curated list of potential buyers
Stall Information and Requirements
What we’re looking for from our makers:
A beautifully curated stall
The ability to host a 5 – 20-minute workshop, talk or demo session at your stall
Promotion of the event to your audience and mailing list
A commitment to attending the event yourself. This event will be marketed as an opportunity for consumers to meet the craftspeople, makers, and owners of fantastic local businesses
