JUDITH ALDER

String Theory and Other Things I Don’t Understand

May 2022

A solo exhibition from local artist Judith Alder based around ’30 works in 30 days,’ an international project which asked its participants to create line drawings in black ink on white paper with a continuous looped line. Judith is interested in how science, nature and technology collide in today’s world, creating work which explores the evolution and mutability of form. Alongside the exhibition Judith worked on the labels for Nature Series Cuvée 2017, a collaborative wine project between Artelium and Vagabond, creating line drawings based on the molecular structure of Light, Soil and Water, key elements in the wine making process.
