Autumn Sussex Walks From Artelium

Woodland walks and countryside routes from our vineyard on the East and West Sussex border.

Dig out your jumper and throw your walking boots into the back of the car, Autumn is here and it’s time to stride out and enjoy the beautiful colours of the season.

Our home on the border of East & West Sussex is the perfect place to base yourself for the day and explore Sussex by foot.

All our routes start and finish at the vineyard, and there is something for everyone from family-friendly woodland rambles to longer walks with local pubs. Dogs are very welcome on the Wine Estate and in the Tasting Room.

Embracing Autumn in Sussex

The Sussex landscape has long inspired artists and writers. And with the leaves beginning to change and the autumn light casting a spell across the South Downs, you can see why.

As the evenings begin to draw in, it is easy to miss the longer summer days. But step inside our Tasting Room and hear the crackle of the log burner and you’ll be cosying up for autumn with a glass of wine in no time.

A Walk for Every Adventurer – four to choose from

The routes all start and finish at the vineyard car park – view location.

Please only come to the vineyard during our opening times and before you set off, please say hi to us in the Tasting Room. For those of you who have been to us before, you’ll know our dog Poppy might be keen to join you for your walk. Please do not let her!

Be aware that fields may have livestock in them, so please keep your dogs under control. The footpaths can also get muddy so be sure to bring appropriate footware.
