Raise a Glass to English Wine Week

Welcome to English Wine Week, an annual celebration of the incredible wines produced right here in England!

From Saturday 17th – Sunday 24th June, vineyards, wineries, retailers and restaurants across the country are hosting events, activities and promotions to showcase and celebrate English wine, highlighting the growing success and quality of English wines, as well as the unique characteristics of the terroir and climate that contribute to their production.

The week provides a fantastic opportunity for wine lovers and enthusiasts to learn more about the English wine industry, discover different wine varieties produced in England, and engage in wine tastings and vineyard tours. 

What’s On at Artelium for English Wine Week?

We are open as usual Thursday 12-6, Friday 12-8, Saturday 12-8 and Sunday 12-4 each week, so why not pop along and enjoy a glass of award-winning English sparkling on our beautiful sun-soaked terrace overlooking the South Downs.

We’re hosting two street food nights, and to show the versatility of English Wines and the foods that you can enjoy them with, on Thursday 22nd try them alongside Middle Eastern inspired cuisine from Sumac and on Friday 23rd it’s the ever-popular (albeit slightly French influenced) Raclette with Specs & Bear.

Or join us on Saturday 24th at 11.30am for a Vineyard Tour and Tasting hosted by one of our passionate and knowledgeable team.

We’ll also be out and about at a handful of private events and a couple that you can come along to and say hello (although do make sure to get yourself tickets first), Thursday 22nd at Fourth and Church in Hove and Friday 23rd at Noble Green in Hampton Hill.  

And…. throughout the week, keep an eye on our socials, where we’ll be highlighting some of the fantastic bars, restaurants, hotels and independent wine shops where you can find Artelium wines.
