If you only have a day…

  • Hop on a train to Hassocks, grab a coffee and then take the short 30 minute walk into Ditchling (or call a taxi).

  • Begin your day in the charming village of Ditchling, known for its quaint shops and heritage of local craftsmanship.

  • Explore Ditchling Museum of Art + Craft and browse local shops such as Poison Ivy Florists.

  • Take a leisurely stroll from Ditchling to Artelium’s Tasting Room in Streat for a tutored wine tasting and delicious plate of local Sussex cheese (approx. 1 hour walk)

  • Head to Lewes by taxi to browse beautiful boutiques and antique treasure troves!

  • Lewes, a historic market town, is renowned for it’s fantastic shops and colourful past - take a leisurely stroll along the cobbled streets, immerse yourself in the town's rich history,

  • Enjoy a delightful supper at one of our favourite local restaurants such as Dill, Squisito or Fork before hopping on a train at Lewes Station.  

Rye & Camber Sands: Beach Days and Fine English Wine

  • Journey to the medieval town of Rye, with its quaint streets and inviting atmosphere.

  • Explore the town's antique shops and artisan stores, discovering hidden gems along the way.

  • Make your way to Camber Sands, a stunning sandy beach known for its natural beauty and picturesque dunes.

  • After a relaxing day by the sea, indulge in a stunning locally sourced dinner and fantastic English wine list at The Gallivant, where you can unwind and savor the flavors of the region, including Artelium’s Pinot Gris and Pinot Rose.

  • Why not stay the night and partake in a bit of beach yoga in the morning too?
